Water Beads are reusable and will fit down the smallest vase openings, they can actually be mixed with the soil of your indoor house plants and will release moisture as the plants require. They will also pull bacteria away from the plant giving you a healthier & hardier plant. You can grow some plants in them and start seeds such as Wheatgrass & Indoor Herb Gardens. Can be used over and over again just add more water. Will not discolor the water or bleed.

After 3-4 weeks of use your water beads will shrink down as they release the moisture to your plants and fresh cut flowers. Expanding them back to their original size is easy, just follow these steps:

1. Empty the beads into a colander or strainer and rinse with cold water.
2. If algae/bacteria has developed on the bead they will appear cloudy.
3. Use a liquid based fertilizer to neutralize algae and rinse again.
4. Place the beads in a bowl with 2 cups of water and soak for 30-45 minutes.
5. Drain off any excess water and they are ready to be used again.
   

Over time the color of the beads may lighten as you use them, giving them a translucent appearance.
