The best method is to rinse them off to remover any bacteria and place on a plate or platter with a piece of wax paper. Seperate the beads and drying usually takes 3-5 days. Place the dry pellets back in a bag and store in a cool dark place. Resoak to reactivate and reuse.

How do I keep them from drying out?

Water Beads need to be rehydrated about once a week. To do so, simply add water to the existing arrangement and the beads will absorb the water in their current state. Water Beads can be reused by rinsing between uses.
