Other Garden Bulbs

No garden is complete without flowering bulbs. Starch contained within each bulb provides fuel to enable growth sooner than ordinary garden seeds. For this reason bulbs are generally the first to come into bloom and bring a splash of color to the garden before ordinary flowers get chance. As the season extends the bulbs tend to die back as their energy is returned to the bulb to ensure next years growth. Bulbs are usually planted at a depth of two to three times their size - (ie: if the bulb is an inch long it should go 2 to 3 inches deep).

As well as the more popular range of garden bulbs we also show a number of unique garden bulbs, equally beautiful, which include : bluebell, amaryllis, anemone and iris amongst others.
